Swimmers from South Jefferson and Gouverneur dive in to begin the 100-yard individual medley. Gouverneur’s Mark Dunkelberg won the 500-yard freestyle, while teammate Ben Sitts captured the win in the 200-yard breast stroke. Gouverneur's Mark Dunkelberg (near lane) and South Jeff's Nate Tyler swimmer battle side by side to begin the 500-Yard freestyle.  Four South Jeff swimmers captured wins in three events to anchor a 97-63 Spartans’ win at Gouverneur. Addison Roberts, Liam Mallan, Nick Snyder and Garrett Strough were all part of the winning 200-yard medley relay and 200 free relay. Roberts also won the 200 freestyle, while Mallan captured the 100 backstroke, Snyder topped the 100 free and Strough won the 100 butterfly. Gouverneur was led by Mark Dunkelburg who pulled away in the final four laps to win the 500 freestyle, while Ben Sitts won the 100 breaststroke. South Jeff improved to 3-, while Gouverneur slipped to 1-1.

Gouverneur’s Alex Deon (near lane) narrowly beats Watertown’s Nathan Lachenware to the finish of the 500-yard freestyle.  Joey Ongkingco and Andrew Marilley each captured four events for the Cyclones. Watertown swept the meet, while Beaver River beat out Gouverneur. Ongkingco won the 100-yard freestyle and 100 breaststroke, while participating in the winning 200 free relay. Marilley took first place in the 100 backstroke, 200 free and was part of the winning 400 free relay. Both were part of the win in the 200 medley relay. Zach Irish captured the 100 butterfly for Beaver River. In the double-dual vs. Beaver River, Mark Dunkelberg led Gouverneur with wins in the 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke, while participating in a first-place finish in a winning 200 freestyle.

Gouverneur’s Matt Shippie-Monica dives into the pool to begin the 200-yard freestyle. Gouverneur’s Mark Dunkelberg placed sixth overall in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25 seconds. The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Mark Dunkelberg, Ben Sitts, Alex Deon and Matt Shippie-Monica placed fifth overall with a time of 1:26.
