MASSENA BEATS M-W JACKETS, BUT FALLS TO DEVILS IN SPLIT

An Ogdensburg Blue Devil hurls the discus.  John Paul Dumas with four wins and Anto Almasian with a pair of firsts continued to lead the Red Raiders in their split.  Almasian won the discus event.  Dumas own the high jump, long jump, triple jump and 110 hurdles. 
 

GOUVERNEUR & MASSENA TIE; BOTH SWEEP POTSDAM

M-W'S MARCELLUS WINS 3 EVENTS IN WIN VS. C-F EAGLES


Boys from Clifton-Fine and Madrid-Waddington made the baton exchange during the 400-meter relay event.  Madrid-Waddington improved to 5-3 on the season and climbed to 4th place with a 138-64 win over Clifton-Fine.   Meet Gallery

M-W's Zach Marcellus produced wins in the 200 meters, 400 hurdles and shot put to lead the Jackets.  Ken Johnson added withnbs in the high jump and 800 meters.  Even Popham led the Eagles charge with wins in the triple jump and long jump.
 

POTSDAM RACES PAST M-W JACKETS IN 149-46 VICTORY


A Potsdam competitor just clears the hurdle while trying to catch a Tupper Lake athlete.  Tupper Lake's Bryan Geiger won the 110 hurdles.  However, Potsdam improved to 2-5 on the season, beating Tupper Lake 149-46 in boys track and field.   (Eric Foote photo)   Meet Gallery

A Potsdam runner edges ahead of two competitors in the 100 meter race.  Three Potsdam athletes each captured two first-place finishes to lead the Sandstoners to victory.  A.J. Rivers won the discus and shot put.  Tyler Chevier added wins in the 100 and 200 meter sprints and Max Romey finished first in the 1600 and 3200.  Brian Geiger was the lone two-event winner for Tupper in the high jump and 110 hurdles. 
 

MALONE SWEEPS VAN DUSEN; INDIAN RIVER 2ND, FULTON 3RD

MADRID-WADDINGTON ROMPS OVER TUPPER LAKE IN MEET


Madrid-Waddington's Adam Villnave tries to clear the bar in the high-jump competition during a meet at the hive versus Tupper Lake.  The Yellow Jackets Cruised to an easy win 156-46  to improve to 3-3 on the season, while Tupper Lake fell to 1-5.

The start of the 110 hurdles at Madrid-Waddington Central is competitive in the early going. Brom Steinberg was the top finisher for the Jackets, while Brian Gieger earned the best finish for Tupper Lake, while also winning two other events.  Steinberg won both hurdles events, while Cody Sharlow and Ken Johnson were top medalists in two events as well for the Yellow Jackets.  (Russ Merrill photo)
 

MALONE EDGES N-N FLYERS & M-W JACKETS IN TRI-MEET

A Malone discus thrower in the tri-meet.  Malone's Justin Marlow swept three events with the 110 and 400 hurdles, while Connor Gordon added the 1,600 and 3,200 meter races.  Norwood-Norfolk's Thomas Plumb captured the 200 and 400.

ENG, PLUMB LEAD N-N FLYERS TO 155-82 WIN VS. MASSENA


Competitors from Massena and Norwood-Norfolk are in a tight race in the boys 110 meter hurdles during action on Wednesday.  Massena's J.P. MALONE TRACKS TWO WINS OVER CLIFTON-FINE, TUPPER

MADRID-WADDINGTON SWEEPS CANTON & POTSDAM IN MEET

FLYERS SWEEP GOUVERNEUR, SALMON IN THURSDAY MEET


Runners from Norwood-Norfolk, Salmon River and Gouverneur compete in the 400 meter event.  Three spring wins for N-N's Tom Plumb led the Flyers to a sweep of their dual meet, beating Salmon River 178-142 and Gouverneur 144½-93½.  Plumb won the 400, 200 and 100 races, while Jared Pollock, Graham Stone and Dan Colbert won two events each for the Flyers.
