A Malone competitor in the shot put.  Hannah Perry tossed Malone's best distance. Canton’s Cassidy Scott won the 1500, while teammates Maria Ricalton topped the 3000 and Morgan Rosser claimed the triple jump. Canton swept all three relay events, the 3200, 1600 and 800. For Potsdam, Maddie Dreschel captured the 55-meter dash, while Madi Dow won the 600. Tupper Lake’s Tess Klossner won the 300 meters and Breanna Trombley the longest shot put. Massena’s Jacklyn Lamica won the high jump. Gouverneur’s Katelyn Kennedy clinched the 55-meter hurdles. Norwood-Norfolk’s Kaycie Saucier won the 1000 meters. Indian River’s Lydia Torres topped the long jump.

CANTON WIN SEVEN EVENTS

Canton dominated the top finishes in Week 6. Cassidy Scott placed first in the 1500 meters . Claire Bartlett won the 1000 meters. Maria Ricalton captured the win in the 3000 meters. Morgan Rosser achieved the best distance in the triple jump. Canton swept the relay events with Grace Bessett, Cassidy Scott, Maria Ricalton, and Claire Bartlett winning the 3200; Gabby Scott, Bartlett, Ricalton, Hannah Tupper captured the 1600 meters; and Dasha LaPoint, Morgan Rosser, Bessette and Isabel Dashnaw sweeping the 800. Malone’s Jaclyn Lamica won the 55 hurdles and the high jump. Indian River’s Makayla Jones sprinted the win in the 55 meters, while teammate Lydia Jones win the long jump. Potsdam’s Maddie Dow won the 600 meters. Gouverneur’s Ciara Spicer was top runner in the 300, while teammate Breanna Trombley bested the shot put.

Canton’s Emma Collins takes her first attempt in the long jump.  The meet featured a fairly wide spread of first-place finishes among the athletes and teams. First-place Canton’s Maria Ricalton edged out Malone’s Emily Pomainville in the 1500. The Bears’ Cassidy Scott distanced the field in the 3000, while Morgan Rosser captured the triple jump. Canton won all three relay races. Potsdam’s Maddie Dreschel dashed to victories in the 55 and 300 meters, while teammates Madi Dow topped the 600 and Abby Thomas won the high jump. Gouverneur’s Katelyn Kennedy captured the 55-meter hurdles. Norwood–Norfolk’s Kaycie Saucier won the 1000 meters. Malone’s Hanna Perry won the long jump. Indian River’s Doreen Adjei fired the longest shot put.
