GOUVERNEUR STILL UNBEATEN,
OUTLASTING MASSENA 45-33

Massena’s Isaiah Perry grabs the ankle of Gouverneur’s
Joey Love, trying to twist him over and gain control.
Perry would win by pinfall in the first period, one of
three Massena wins by pin. However, Gouverneur wrestlers
netted five pins and prevailed in the meet, beating
Massena 45-33, to remain unbeaten.

Gouverneur’s Justin Garrison gets a pin on Massena’s Joe
Ferrera in the third period, after trailing 6-0, but
flipping his opponent and pulling out the win. The
unbeaten Wildcats (4-0) pulled out the victory of
Massena by winning three of the last four bouts to
defeat the Red Raiders 45-33. Massena slipped to
2-2. (Eric Foote photo)
