Canton Wins Sectional Title & Shares Season Title With O.F.A.

Following their unbeaten, shared 2023 regular-season title at 10-0-1, the Canton Golden Bears won the Section X team championship, with a score of 437, 19 strokes ahead of second-place Ogdensburg, who shared the regular-season title. 
The team included Ryan Jones, John and Daniel O'Neill, Sam Sieminski, Andrew Brown, Eliza Creurer, Hope Dolman, William McDonough,Matt Tupper, Alden Woodruff and Jackson Zebedee.   Massena was third, followed by Malone, Potsdam and Madrid-Waddington.  (Cody Jenne photo)

Rumble top golfer with strong day #2; Jones 2nd


Gouverneur's Raine Rumble, who began the second day four strokes off the lead, fired a 74, five strokes ahead of the rest of the field, elevating him to the #1 spot in the tournament and a berth in the state tournament.  (Cody Jenne photo)
