POTSDAM wins first meet; WOLVES 2ND, flyERS 3RD

Canton's Parker Gallagher won the event.
In Week 1, Indian River's Cleopatra Kalunda sprinted to a win in the 60 meters, while fellow Wolves Alena Riley topped the high jump and Madison Timmons won the triple jump, while Myaunna Coles threw the longest shot put. For Potsdam, Jilliana Sullivan won the 300, Emmie Steinrotter topped the 600, and Johnny Andrews-Perry won both the 1,000 and the 1500. Allie Snell of Norwood-Norfolk won the 3,000 meters. Ogdensburg's Catherine Wilson was best in the 60 hurdles. Massena's Lauren Oliver won the new hammer throw. Canton's Parker Gallagher had the best long jump. In the relays, Indian River won the 800, Potsdam topped the 1600 and Canton won the 3200. Potsdam won the meet followed by Indian River, Norwood-Norfolk, Ogdensburg and Canton rounding out the top five.
